Laila was a ballerina princess, but didn't want to wear the tiara.
We played pop the balloons. Each balloon had a candy in it, each kid took a turn popping a balloon and eating the candy inside. Look at Reid and Laila bracing themselves for the pop!. Daisy absolutely hated this game and scratched the door to escape the noise.
Reid was not that happy for Laila. He wanted it to be his birthday party, but he enjoyed the games and the food. Several kids had tummy aches after eating all of the treats we had out on this spread.
We went into the backyard and played with the parachute. Here, Laila's running underneath the parachute because I called her name and everyone shot the parachute into the air. Every kid had a turn running underneath it. Amazing game!
Laila the ballerina and Gramma the angel.
I was a belly dancer, or something.
We made an owl cake out of a bunch of cupcakes. Laila loves owls and pretends that she sees them while we're driving. She gasps and says, "Look! Owl! hoo, hoo!" Reid will say, "No there isn't!"
We'd practiced how she would blow out the candles on her birthday cake for weeks so when the time came she did it perfectly.
Laila got tons of cute gifts. She really likes Curious George from Grandpa and Gramma because he laughs and makes monkey noises.
