Reid, Daisy and I took a little walk the morning of New Year's Day. Daddy was feeling very sick so we let him sleep in a bit while we went down to the lake. It was a beautiful mild day and Reid felt like practicing his waving. Yesterday, I noticed that when we came home form getting groceries Reid saw Daisy through the front door and waved to her. I was amazed when we taught him how to wave, but now he understands that waving is saying hello. He is trying to communicate all the time now, always pointing to things and wanting me to tell him what they are. Yesterday, he also started shaking his head "no" when he doesn't want any more food. Much neater than spitting food back at me!
