Laila is more mobile and really wants to walk. She will courageously let go of furniture and pivot over to grab your hands. Laila can stand with no assistance for about 30 seconds before she lowers herself slowly to the ground. She is very brave and will climb all the way up the three flights of stairs by herself just for fun. The past two weeks, we've had a very hard time with her sleeping at night. She seems to be suffering from her bottom teeth breaking the gum line and now from a terrible cold. each night she has been awake from 2am until 4am crying. I'm praying this will pass soon. We are starting to see a very independent personality emerge, she will happily play alone in the wagon while in the park and at home with Reid's toys. She likes being read bedtime stories and will say the word duck and dog when she sees them in pictures. Today, for the first time, she gave Grandpa and Grandma a kiss with her lips. It was very sweet.
