Cuba Vacation

My mom and dad gave us a great gift this spring by taking care of Reid and Laila for a week while Jeff and I went to Cuba. We got to suntan, play tennis together, sleep in until 7:30, drink a lot of alcohol, talk to each other, not cook or clean and miss our kids. We had a lovely time, but the last two days we missed Reid and Laila and wanted to come home. What a greeting we received at the airport! Here is Reid holding a huge poster saying that Reid and Laila love Mommy and Daddy. The kids were star struck when we got off the plane and were shy and nervous to talk to us. Laila just froze and stared at me for a very long time until Jeff picked her up. Reid let me hold him in my arms all the way to the parking lot and kept telling us he loved us and missed us. He cried last night saying that he missed Grandma.
