We went to Dufferin Mall to buy the kids a Christmas outfit so that they could have a picture with Santa next weekend, but when we got to the mall, Santa was already there. We went into H & M, found some festive looking clothes and changed them in the hallway. This Santa was really nice to the kids and because it was the first day of Santa mall pictures, there was no line up and the big guy had lots of time to chat with Reid and Laila. He was asking them what they wanted. Reid told him he wanted a mask and Laila said something he didn't understand, so he asked her if she wanted a candy cane. She replied "Yes!" but her y makes it sound like, "Jess!" Then Santa asked them if they wanted a colouring book and again they both said, "Yes!" They slid off his lap and said thank you. Neither kid was scared or even shy with him. Jeff and I were pleasantly proud of how friendly and talkative they were this year. They look so sweet in this photo, I've already ordered Christmas cards with this picture on it.
