Reid woke up very early this morning and has been a bit grumpy all morning. I've made him take a nap now so that he can stay awake for our special evening of Christmas pageantry, Christmas carols, turkey roulade, apple pie and Shirley Temples. We have been talking about his performance as the shepherd all weekend, being the Honey Booboo pageant mom that I am, I've been asking him to make his cute pious face and showing him examples of other shepherds looking solemn yet adorable. I told Laila that we'll go to church and watch Reid sing in his shepherd costume and she said she wanted to wear her turtle costume.
