Laila started crawling on Thursday afternoon. She sort of drags her left foot behind her and then straightens both legs so that she's in a pike position. She's trying to stand up. She can pull herself up to a stand and attempts to take little wobbly steps. She's strong and can bear her body weight for a long time, it's just her balance that needs some work. I'm pretty sure she'd prefer to walk than crawl because she doesn't stay down for long on all fours, she's always trying to get to a standing position. She seems very happy to be able to get to where her brother is and snatch the toys that he is playing with. Reid is not thrilled about her new mobility. But, he does like "wrestling" with her. He gives her a bear hug and then pulls her on top of him and tries to roll. This always ends in someone crying.
