Photos and Quotes

Jeff installing crown mouldings.

Going for a chilly evening walk.

At the Oakville Santa parade.

Laila has zero fear and ran away from us the entire time.

She also ate an entire chocolate croissant.

Here are a couple of funny things Reid's said in the past two weeks.

Reid: "I'm worried about Scruff." (a garbage train who's afraid of being cleaned.)
Me: "Why?"
Reid: "Because he's very dirty."

"Mommy I found Broken Thomas. He was behind all the blankets." (He calls him Broken Thomas because he's cracked from absorbing moisture in the sandbox overnight this summer. There's also Sweaty Thomas, who is made of metal and gets slippery when held, hence Sweaty Thomas. We did not think of these names, Reid did.)

In the bathtub Laila is crying, Reid turns to her with a very stern face and slowly says, "Stop. the. fake. crying."

"Mommy, look at Hiro. He looks wonderful." (referring to a train on a poster on his closet door.)

"Reid can you please eat some eggs now?"
"But I ate the whole apple." (He said this with attitude while standing in his chair ready to get down.)

We visited Santa at the mall yesterday for pictures. We got there early, so when Santa walked into his North Pole display Reid screamed, "SANTA!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" and ran down the hall in excitement.
