It was a bit nerve wracking the first time we tried it, now it's a breeze. The tandem bath is a perfect end of the day ritual for these two. Laila lays in a blow up tub within the real tub and chews on a bath toy. We put her in own tub so that she can lay there without having to be held upright in the regular tub, plus she doesn't have to bathe in Reid's dirty water. His water is nearly brown some days, especially after a good park playing afternoon. Reid shares half of the tub with her and makes her laugh or cry. He will often "help" by filling a container with bath water and "rinsing" her off. We try our best not to let him dump the water on her face but sometimes we just are not fast enough. She spits out the face full of water and cries a bit. Reid just can't resist. Laila is going to be one tough cookie, I guess that's what happens to little sisters with big brothers. I take Laila out first and then Reid asks Daddy to turn the blow up tub upside down so that he can "hide in the tunnel".
